Mission Statement for A Quiet Place Molalla

To offer an interfaith spiritual residence amidst a tree sanctuary and fruit orchard. Collectively, we offer quietude and work study groups focusing on mindfulness.

Our Goals:

  • Offering a space for reflection, renewal and quiet
  • Supporting conservation and the planting of rare and endangered trees
  • Maintaining and apple and pear orchard to feed those in need with support of Salem Harvest
  • The creation of a seed bank

The Farm House

AQPM is the home of a small tree sanctuary of recently planted Valley Ponderosa Pine, Oregon White Oak, and Western Red Cedar trees. These are indigenous, non-invasive species, that help preserve and spread the natural beauty of this land.

We maintain a working farm, with orchards that supply the local food bank and families in need with 3000 lbs of food each year! This is something we're very proud of.

In Spring 2016 we began revitalizing the historic family farm property, creating several small forest ecosystems by planting a variety of trees and shrubs to design natural walking meditation paths and benches for sitting.
